How You Can Help

At any time, someone you know or love may receive earth shattering news from their doctor. Seeking life-saving medical treatment, they may be forced to travel away from home, leaving them frightened, alone, and troubled. This strain impacts families’ health and patients’ recovery.

You might have seen them when you’ve visited the hospital; camped out in the waiting rooms, wandering the hospital corridors, or taking a break in the hospital cafeteria. Daily, countless people find themselves exhausted and in need of rest for their body, mind, and spirit.

When Marybeth’s Cottage is open, we’ll offer a nonprofit Hospital Hospitality House to patients seeking treatment in the community of Jacksonville. With your help, we will open our doors, hearts and arms, making a difference in the lives of 1500 or more patients and family members 4500 nights of respite a year.
